Magnetic level switches are particularly suitable for applications where hazardous and toxic liquids are involved. The magnetic level switch is constructed so that the medium being measured is enclosed in a level tube. Inside the level tube is a free-floating float, which is fitted with a permanent ring magnet, which is always positioned exactly on the level line. On the outside of the levelling tube is the display itself. This can be placed anywhere on the level tube and rotated 280°. As the float rises and falls with the medium, the rectangular display elements in the display are rotated 180°. The display elements above the level of the medium are white, while those at the level and below are red. The unit can be supplied in PVC, PPH, PVDF or acid-proof steel.
