Vacuum pumps

Vacuum pumps for dry gases & saturated vapours
Lyma supplies powerful vacuum pumps that create negative pressure and compress gases and liquids in various industrial processes. Our vacuum pumps are efficiently used in evacuating and pumping dry gases and saturated vapours, which is essential for processes such as distillation, drying, degassing, filling and boiling.

Function of the vacuum pump
The main function of a vacuum pump is to change the pressure in an enclosed space to create a full or partial vacuum, either mechanically or chemically. The pressure will always try to equalise across connected regions as gas molecules flow from high to low to fill the entire area of that volume. Therefore, if a new low pressure space is introduced, gas will naturally flow from the high pressure region to the new low pressure region until they have the same pressure. Note that this vacuum process is created by pressurising molecules. Vacuum pumps essentially move gas molecules from one region to the next to create a vacuum by changing high and low pressure states.
Areas of use
Our vacuum pumps are used in a variety of industrial sectors, including the chemical industry, food and beverage production, environmental engineering, desalination plants and fish farms. Their reliable performance makes them a proven technology for various applications.
Liquivac vacuum pumps
We offer Liquivac vacuum pumps, known for their durability and reliability. These multi-stage vacuum pumps are designed to handle liquids, gases and foams with solid particles up to 2 mm in diameter. The innovative vacuum design and stainless steel and cast iron construction ensure a robust and reliable pump for various industrial needs.
