Asahi standard gate valve, Type P, DN32–200

Valve for shutting off the water supply in water supply and drainage systems. All parts in contact with the medium are made of corrosion-resistant material, which reduces the risk of corrosion and rust-related discolouration of the water. The valve is made of impact-resistant polyvinyl chloride and is lightweight, weighing approximately one-fifth as much as a comparable cast iron butterfly valve. Despite its light weight, the valve has high torsional strength and can withstand high operating torques. The design ensures a tight shut-off at varying flow rates. The spindle is sealed with an O-ring to prevent external leakage and facilitate maintenance.
