Expansion joints are used in pipework systems where axial and radial movements occur as a result of, for example, thermal expansion or vibrations. Connections and lengths are tailored to the customer’s requirements, and all expansion joints are CE marked in accordance with PED 2014/68/EU.

Steel expansion joints

Steel expansion joints are usually manufactured from stainless or acid-resistant steel, but can also be made from other alloys for applications involving more demanding operating conditions. Assembly takes place at our own facility, which enables short lead times.

Rubber expansion joints

Ditec Dichtungtechnik manufactures rubber expansion joints in materials such as EPDM, CR, FPM and CSM. The range comprises a large number of models, including variants for EX zones. Different grades of rubber can also be combined with PTFE liners. The vulcanisation capacity is 4 × 7 m. The range also includes fabric and PTFE expansion joints.
