Geppert - LRD agitator
The LRD series top-mounted sealed agitator can be used for mixing in closed containers with mechanical seal. It is designed with a coupling housing. The agitator shaft is suspended in the bearing housing and the mechanical seal (single or double acting). The seal can be replaced without disassembling the mixer from the tank (also in case of side mounting).
Shaft pin drives for the LRD series:
- Three-phase motor
- Gear drive
- Parallel shaft gear drive
- Variable speed gear drive
- Helical gear drive with bevel gear
- Depending on the size of the tank, the LRD series agitator is available in four different frame sizes. Shaft diameters from 30 mm to 90 mm and shaft lengths up to 10,500 mm are possible.
- Explosion protection according to ATEX 2014/34/EU for hazardous zones 0 to 2 for gases and for hazardous zones 20-22 for dusts (unit group II, categories 1-3).
- Pharmaceutical version with FDA and GMP possible.
