Euroflon Bioflex Ultra

Bioflex Ultra is a flexible, PTFE-lined hose developed for the conveyance of process fluids in demanding industrial environments. The hose is used, amongst other things, in pharmaceutical-, food and chemical industry, where requirements regarding purity, chemical resistance and material properties are key.
The unique design combines the properties of smooth and corrugated PTFE hoses. The smooth interior provides good flow characteristics and is easy to clean, whilst the external ribbed and trough profile provides resistance to kinking and vacuum.
Bioflex Ultra is:
- Chemically inert and corrosion-resistant
- Easy to clean and suitable for hygienic processes
- Vacuum-resistant and flexible
- Suitable for, amongst other things, foodstuffs, medicines, chemicals, paints, resins and inks
The PTFE hose can be fitted with a stainless steel wire or PP braid. For additional external protection, it can also be fitted with, for example, an EPDM or silicone sheath. Bioflex Ultra is manufactured from 100 % PTFE, which complies with USP Class VI and FDA 21 CFR 177.1550. An antistatic black version is also available with additives approved in accordance with FDA 21 CFR 178.3297. Assembled hoses can be supplied with documentation as agreed and are CE-marked in accordance with PED 2014/68/EU, Module H.
