Piston pump - pulsating flows

Lyma's wide range of dosing pumps also includes piston pumps, so-called piston dosing pumps. The piston dosing pump's dosing head contains a piston, usually made of stainless steel. When the piston moves in the dosing head, the suction valve closes and the dosing medium flows out of the dosing head through a pressure valve. When the piston moves in the opposite direction, the pressure valve is closed by the negative pressure in the dosing head. New dosing medium flows into the dosing head through the suction valve. The result is a pump that provides very accurate, precise dosing of small and large flows.
